Las Cortes was authorized and created by the City Council for the sole purpose of creating affordable housing.  Is currently the only nonprofit that produces affordable housing that is based in Oxnard.

Las Cortes is currently involved in the development of three affordable housing projects.  The Courts, which is the demolition and replacement of 260 public housing units. Paseo Nuevo, which is a 72 unit affordable housing rental housing project located in the cypress neighborhood.  Cuesta del Mar, which is a 7 unit affordable housing project.
